Applications for the 2025-2026 board year are now being accepted

 

Qualifications to be on the board per the FLMSF By-Laws:

1) Any spouse of an active duty service member stationed within 50 miles of JBLM.

2) Any retired government employee, surviving spouse or family member, or spouse of a retired service member residing within 50 miles of JBLM.

*The 2025-2026 Board Year will begin August 1, 2025 and run through July 31, 2026. Onboarding tasks will begin June/July 2025*


Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.


Treasurer

Maintain accurate financial records, prepare budgets and financial reports, and ensure compliance with Army and IRS regulations. Oversee all fund disbursements and support annual audits and reporting requirements.

Marketing Coordinator

Create and distribute promotional materials, manage public communications, and update the website with timely scholarship information. Coordinate outreach to schools, media, and the community.

Donor Coordinator  

Prepare and send donation request letters, track responses, and complete grant applications. Send thank-you letters and maintain positive donor relationships.

Event Coordinator  

Coordinate scholarship judging day events, and oversee the planning and execution of the annual scholarship ceremony.
